The elderly man bald headed, wrinkled. pot bellied and with few teeth sat with eyes half closed looked and saw in his minds eye a young  French pleated dark haired girl with a high collared white blouse, wide black belt, floral skirt over many sugar starched petticoats and black ballerina shoes. 

She white haired, crinkle faced and hunched looked through her minds eye and saw a young  blonde quiff haired lad clad in grey narrow bottomed trousers topped by a sky blue shirt and pastel yellow wind cheater his feet sporting brown suede shoes.
